Carta de Harry M. Miller Jr., da Fundação Rockefeller, para o professor Dr. Joaquim Braga. Miller Jr. Informa que foi possível conceder bolsas a dois alunos que deveriam, obrigatoriamente, se graduar no final daquele ano para ter um ano de experiência no México. É enviada uma série de recomendações e pré-requisitos para realização da seleção dos candidatos. Dentre eles, que sejam dois homens que se graduem no final dos anos 1951, 1952 ou 1953, em áreas de trabalho voltadas para reprodução e genética das plantas, patologia e entomologia econômica. Nesta carta, consta as obrigações de ambas as instituições para que o programa de intercâmbio pudesse funcionar.
